Warranty work on ice makers bought over the Internet
I want to buy Scotsman AFE400 Flaked ice maker over the internet. However, I am wondering who is responsible for the warranty. Is it from Scotsman or the company who sells it?
If I buy it, I will use it in my lab of uninversity.

The top three ice machine manufacturers (Hoshizaki, Manitowoc, and Scotsman all have contracts with dealers throughout the US to repair any of their ice makers which are under warranty. The manufacturer issues the warranty and is ultimately responsible for any warranty work done, but most dealers will help you to get any warranty issues resolved.
